DIGITAL PRODUCTS & ONLINE STORE TRAINING

Free, self-guided training • Learn how to plan a useful digital product, price it thoughtfully, build a clear product page, and prepare a reliable customer experience. These lessons are educational; they do not automatically create a store, process payments, or guarantee sales.

LESSON 1 • CHOOSE A PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING

Start with a specific audience and one problem you can help solve. Common digital products include checklists, templates, workbooks, guides, tutorials, and downloadable resources.

Assignment: Write down your audience, their problem, and three possible digital product ideas.

LESSON 2 • VALIDATE YOUR IDEA

Research existing alternatives, listen to real questions, and ask potential customers what they find useful. Interest does not guarantee purchases, so start small and avoid overbuilding.

Assignment: List three questions to ask potential buyers and two competing or alternative solutions to review.

LESSON 3 • OUTLINE YOUR FIRST PRODUCT

Choose one clear outcome and organize the content into manageable sections. For a workbook, use an introduction, practical steps, examples, and a final checklist. Make the instructions easy to follow.

Assignment: Draft a one-page outline with a title, intended result, and five sections.

LESSON 4 • CREATE AND QUALITY-CHECK FILES

Use tools you already have to draft PDFs, documents, templates, or videos. Check readability, spelling, links, accessibility, and compatibility. Only include content, images, and fonts you have permission to distribute.

Assignment: Create a sample page and test it on a phone and computer.

LESSON 5 • CHOOSE A PRICE

Consider the product's usefulness, audience budget, competing options, platform fees, taxes, refunds, and your time. Clearly state what buyers receive and avoid misleading discounts or guaranteed-results claims.

Assignment: Compare three potential prices and estimate the amount remaining after known fees and costs.

LESSON 6 • PLAN YOUR ONLINE STORE

A simple store needs a product listing, clear checkout, payment handling, delivery method, customer support contact, and relevant policies. Review platform fees, payment processor requirements, and any tax obligations before launch.

Assignment: Draw the customer journey: product page → checkout → confirmation → delivery.

LESSON 7 • WRITE A TRUSTWORTHY PRODUCT PAGE

Explain who the product is for, the problem it addresses, what is included, file format, price, access instructions, and any important limitations. Use accurate screenshots or examples and a clear purchase button.

Assignment: Draft a headline, three truthful benefits, a contents list, and a frequently asked question.

LESSON 8 • DELIVER, SUPPORT, AND IMPROVE

Test purchases using your platform's approved test process before accepting real orders. Confirm download links, receipts, refund handling, and support steps. Gather feedback and update products when needed.

Assignment: Create a launch checklist for checkout, delivery, contact details, policies, and mobile usability.

FINAL PROJECT • YOUR DIGITAL PRODUCT LAUNCH PLAN

Prepare one product concept, a five-part outline, a sample page, a proposed price, a product-page draft, and a launch checklist. Keep these materials in your own workspace until you're ready to set up a store.

Sales depend on customer demand, execution, and other factors. This course does not activate payments or publish a product for you.
